New build v0.9.63.20230706 - Polishing narrative and gameplay
Hello, friends!
After 4 months of hard work we are pleased to announce a new build that focuses a lot on narrative and gameplay. This build should feel like a new game in several aspects as we revamped some of the core systems of the game to make interactions way more intuitive and prevent breaking the line of logic for the players (thanks @GamesOverCoffee for your valuable feedback!).
Here are some of the most significant changes in this iteration:
- New interaction system that reduces the number of clicks from the players and provides a more intuitive experience
- New system to read long-form text. We call them "memory logs" and are a great way to learn and understand more about the lore of the game
- New character design. We left behind the stick man design for something more elaborated and that represents better our artistic vision
- New dialogue interface. Now the NPCs will display a conversation bubble on their heads and, when you click it, you will be presented with different options about things or topics you can talk about with that character
- The tutorial main quest has been re-designed and re-implemented to give the players more context about the situation and more freedom to understand what's happening and what's their goal. This includes the addition of 3 new rooms and a more streamlined questline
- The quick-time events (QTEs) now run on the current scene to avoid taking the player out of context
- Now you install the tools on your NeuroLink as you progress throughout the game
- The cutscenes have been improved by removing the AI-generated narrator and adding NPC dialogues and quick-time events instead
- A bunch of other dialogue improvements and minor fixes
As usual, if you face any issue while playing the game, please let us know (either here, on Twitter or join our Discord server). We value all the feedback and always try to fix issues in the next build.
Thank you for your support and hopefully you enjoy this build as much as we enjoyed putting it together.
Cheers!

We just released a new build (v0.9.63.20230712) that fixes 2 blocking issues: 1) the 'New Game' button and 2) the 'Exit' button in the logs. Now you should be able to complete the game from beginning to end without problem :)
Thanks Patricio and DeVaughn for reporting these issues!
